The city hosts international competitions like the East Lake International Sailing Challenge and the East Lake Kayaking Marathon, which attract global participants. Operated by Wuhan Dahai Sunshine Sailing Co., this park offers kayaking experiences at ¥120 per ticket (¥20 service fee for annual pass holders). Sessions last 1 hour, with age restrictions: participants must be 6–60 years old, and children aged 6–14 require adult supervision. Weight limits apply (max 90 kg; heavier individuals can opt for sailing) .

East Lake Tingtao Water Sports Center
Open year-round, this center provides kayaking (¥78/person) and paddleboarding (¥168/person), with discounts for parent-child packages. Professional coaching is available .

Zhongjing Sports Water Sports Center

Located near Liyuan Metro Station, this center offers affordable kayaking at ¥60/person (60 minutes) and nighttime "moonlight boat" experiences with illuminated kayaks. Open until 22:00, it’s ideal for evening adventures.
